    Sylvania 130V light bulbs are for sale in 4-packs of 60-100 watts.  Higher rated voltage will reduce life hours and increase lumen output.  Bulbs designed for 130-volts have larger filament wire which can help fight excessive heat and vibration.

   We also offer 50 gallon electric water heaters manufactured by State Industries.  There are 2 sizes in case of space requirements.  The TALL one measures 54" X 20 1/2".   The SHORT one measures 48" X 22".  The recovery rate is 20 gallons per hour. There is a 6 year warranty on the tank, 2 year on parts.  The water heater must be installed in a home which is served by Steuben REMC.

    Thermostats and elements are available for water heaters purchased from REMC. 
Thermostats range from $6.25-13.52 depending on model.
Elements are from $8.30-11.87.

   The Home Guard from ERI prevents external, high-voltage spikes and surges from entering your home.  The Home Guard is placed at the electrical service entrance directly between the power coming to your home and the meter itself.  The Home Guard is designed to isolate your home from external events that affect power quality.   The Home Guard consistently reduces potentially damaging voltage spikes to "safe" levels.  Whole house surge protection can be installed for $4.89 per month (requires 12 month contract).
